  Chosen Idea From the mind maps i have decided to pursue the topic of film making, This is because i fell that there is more to talk about with this idea and also it will be easier to create.   Existing Products This advert helps get the point of asking your mates how they really feel and does so by using iconic people from the England squad. This is done so that people can see it's not just normal people who suffer from stress and mental health but also big celebrities which would hopefully make them more comfortable with talking about themselves.  In this mental health advert we see how the scene is constantly moving in order to keep up the pace of the action, this could link with people who have busier days suffer more from mental health and stress due to the responsibilities they have.   Interpreting The Brief The company CMP media has approached me and asked me to create a media product in the form of a short documentary which relates to the topic of culture in the digital age. They have informed me that the targeted audience is from the ages of 13-19. This tells me that i need to tailor the documentary to the younger age ranges so the topic of the film needs to appeal to them. The documentary is going to be shown on social media as this is where majority of this age range spend their time this means they will have a higher chance of seeing the documentary. The films time length can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes, however a this is going to be shown on social media then i think if we make it too long then the viewer will get bored and leave the viewing. The deadline for the finished product is the 22nd of January therefore i am going to have to plan each week in in order to meet the deadline with a finished product.   Smile Campaign  Happy Foundations is a non profit charity that help people with their mental health and stress. They are there to help people be happier in normal day to day life and to be happier in general. They want to make a happier society and are committed to helping people in tough time. Happy Foundations aim to decrease the number of cases of mental health issues and helps people get back on track and live a happier life. They aim to support people who are going through tough times and help them through their mental health troubles. From me they require a tv advert and a print advert there is no time limit from what i can tell but if its to appear on tv I could go up to around thirty seconds or so in order to keep it to the point and not make the audience feel board of watching it. Digital Culture Documentary Journal

  18/11/20 Today I finished off my presentation which is due in on the 27th, I added images to make it more visually appealing to the audience, I explained each of my points in detail in order to make them clear as well as easy to understand. The images added enables the audience to see what i am talking about instead of having to read small text. I have my timeline all finished with dates when each task needs finishing all the way up to the deadline.  23/11/20 In todays session i managed to complete almost all of the AC1 section of the brief, i managed to complete the interpreting part, mind maps and research i wrote in a lot of detail in order to make it clear to any reader. Foley sound project Plan and research

 A1.1 Explore and develop investigation skills for informing ideas A1.2 Explore and develop problem solving skills. With my project I hope to achieve an effective sound design for the video i have chosen. The purpose of the video is to promote the company in the video in this case a car valet company the aim of the video is to promote their brand so they can ultimately have more clients to work with.  The target audience for this project are people who are interested in getting their car cleaned professionally and to a high standard which is what the video portrays to them. With the development in the sound design for the video i hope to intrigue them into watching the full video and the sound will help them watch on as it will be something different which they may not have listened to before. Western Shootout Scene

  Western Shootout Scene The initial brief was to create a western style shootout film. We started this by researching these types of scenes in western films such as the good the bad the ugly. We found that shot reverse shots were a very popular choice in these sorts of films. I believe this to be because the directors want to show the audience what is going on with the character and let the viewer make their own decision on what they believe is going on inside the characters head.  As a whole the shoot and film went very well. We managed to shoot more than enough clips so we had plenty to work with, some of the clips were not used because of details that could have been improved but we didn't have time or the resources to re shoot the particular scenes. We used a variety of shot types such as extreme close ups of the characters eyes in order to build suspense which progressed into normal close ups of the faces and so on and so forth. GMO Documentary

  The brief was to create a documentary on a topic of our choice. Alex and the merry men productions decided to create a documentary on GMOs. We filmed most of our shots well and got a good solid short documentary at the end of it. The editing went smooth and very well.   We could have made sure all our group was in on each day of recording so we could re do any shots that needed re doing.
