This is a mid shot showing the hair cut taking place. The purpose of the cutaway is to hide any mistakes that may have been made while shooting a shot they are also used to make scenes more interesting by adding fresh content to make scenes more appealing to the audience therefore making them watch the video for longer without being board of the same scene.   Here is my video which utilises a green screen combined with an ultra key which allows me to replace the background of the video for dramatic effect. This is used in order to make custom backgrounds and to engage the viewers to grab their attention. 

Here is my video which utilises a lens flare effect in order to engage the audience even more. I used the lens flare effect in Premier Pro and used key frames in order to track the sun as it goes down and also to get it to decrease in brightness as the sun fades below the horizon. I sourced the video from pexels.com and imported it into premier pro. I found the effect by searching in the effects tabs for "Lens Flare" and then simply dragged and dropped it onto the video and configured it to suit the video and the actions.

  Mind Hunter  Today I will be analysing the opening sequence from the Netflix series Mind Hunter. I will be discussing Camera angles, Editing techniques and sound design.  From watching the trailer through numerous times I can see that there is many dead bodies a tape recorder and a microphone. These all have their hidden meanings such as multiple dead bodies can draw a link to a serial killer so we can guess that this is going to be about a serial killer. The Tape recorder can draw links to a confession or maybe an interrogation that is about to take place, when used in conjunction with the microphone that we see, we can infer that someone is going to be talking and being recorded possibly the killer themselves.  The camera angles in this trailer don't really change.     Trailer Research Before making my trailer for "The walk" I decided to do some research on already existing trailers, one trailer in particular was the trailer for The Martian ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej3ioOneTy8) this trailer peaked my interests as it consisted of a lot of action packed scenes and showed this very well in the trailer. It also was great at engaging the audience into the storyline and making them think like the character about how to survive. It consisted of a few cinematic scenes here and there to show the setting so we, the audience, can have a better understanding of  the location of where the characters are and what they could be doing there.
